Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and maintaining our WebFOCUS Client environments, ensuring robust security, and supporting our business users. Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience administering WebFOCUS Client environments.
  • Strong knowledge of WebFOCUS Client architecture, including InfoAssist, BI Portal, and ReportCaster.
  • Experience managing user security, groups, and roles within WebFOCUS Client.
  • Familiarity with LDAP/Active Directory integration and single sign-on (SSO).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with WebFOCUS 8207 or 9.x versions.
  • Basic understanding of WebFOCUS Reporting Server and DataMigrator.
  • Knowledge of Tomcat and IIS web servers.
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS deployments of WebFOCUS.
  • Scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell) for automating admin tasks.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the WebFOCUS Client environments, including InfoAssist, BI Portal, and ReportCaster.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, and roles within the WebFOCUS Client security model.
  • Configure and maintain security rules for folders, reports, dashboards, and portals.
  • Assist with content organization, create and manage folders, domains, and portal pages.
  • Support report publishing and scheduling through ReportCaster.
  • Perform migrations of content across Dev, QA, and Prod environments.
  • Collaborate with BI developers to deploy and test new reports or dashboards.
  • Monitor job executions, logs, and alerts to ensure reliable report delivery.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to the WebFOCUS Client layer.
  • Provide training and support to business users on portal navigation and basic report usage.
