Job Description:

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

Average $82,000 annually

Additional $3,000 annual safety bonus

4-day work week - Home daily

You will drive:

  • Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
  • Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
  • Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to enhance safety

What you will do:

  • Deliver palletized products to local grocery stores
  • No pallet breakdowns required
  • Enjoy the benefit of being home daily

Schedule:

Friday through Monday with PM start time. Additionally, earn a $200 incentive for picking up a 5th or 6th day.

Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A is required
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Adherence to all federal/state regulations and guidelines
  • Regular attendance is crucial
  • Must comply with federal law regarding English language proficiency
  • Must work the required schedule and complete necessary employment application, background check, and drug screening
  • This position is safety-sensitive and requires maintaining alertness and safety at all times

Physical Requirements:

The individual must be able to see and hear adequately. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Tasks involve frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting. The individual must use hands to handle and feel and may lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.

The individual should be able to legally operate a vehicle and access both the vehicle and cargo area safely. Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
