Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

No weekends. No holidays.

About the Role

Our Maternal Fetal Medicine team is seeking a professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented Front Desk Patient Services Specialist to support our high-risk obstetric clinic. This role is vital in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for patients and families during a very important time in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors by providing warm, professional customer service

• Check patients in and out, verify insurance, collect copays, and update demographics

• Manage multi-line phones, schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and handle messages

• Maintain accurate documentation and support clinic workflows to ensure timely care

• Collaborate with nurses, sonographers, physicians, and administrative staff to support patient flow in a fast-paced specialty clinic

• Assist with coordination for specialized programs within the MFM clinic, including high-risk pregnancy services

• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Support other administrative tasks as needed

Ideal Candidate

• Prior experience in a medical office, women’s health, OB/GYN, or high-risk pregnancy setting preferred

• Exceptional communication and customer-service skills

• Strong organizational abilities and comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic preferred)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to individuals experiencing complex pregnancies
