Position Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Master Level Diesel Technician We offer a permanent full-time position to support our truck fleet.

  • Hourly Pay: $29.50 per hour
  • Certification Bonus: $100 for each ASE Certification obtained (up to $700)
  • Quarterly Bonus: Potential to earn up to $500 every quarter
  • Sign-On Bonus: $1750 at 30 days and another $1750 at 90 days
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends off
  • Hours: First shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Experience in mechanical repair of gas or diesel engines
  • Background in routine maintenance like oil changes, brake, and tire work
  • Input in electrical systems and basic diagnostics required
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Valid CDL Class A preferred
  • Additional certifications as required by location
  • Must obtain CDL within six months of hire
  • Pass a Ryder drug test and a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test and background check

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Conduct standard vehicle maintenance and diagnostics
  • Complete complex mechanical inspections and repairs
  • Work independently on assigned tasks
  • Engage with customers to diagnose vehicle issues
  • Utilize the Shop Management System for electronic documentation
  • Mentor junior technicians
  • Perform facility maintenance duties as needed
