Senior Product Designer
Are you an experienced and visionary Product Designer ready to lead complex design initiatives for a global toy and recreational products company? We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our innovative remote design team. In this role, you will drive the conceptualization and development of next-generation products, pushing the boundaries of creativity and play. This position is intensely creative, requiring a strategic mindset to translate market insights into groundbreaking designs. You will lead key product lines within our diverse portfolio.
Overall Summary: The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for leading major product design projects from strategic inception through to production. You will act as a design lead, guiding junior designers and collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, and manufacturing. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-depth user research, developing comprehensive design strategies, creating advanced 3D models and high-fidelity prototypes, presenting design concepts to stakeholders, ensuring design intent is maintained through manufacturing, and mentoring junior team members. This role involves significant creative leadership and problem-solving for complex design challenges.

Expertise in advanced 3D CAD modeling and rendering, proven experience in leading design projects, strong understanding of materials and manufacturing constraints, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and a strategic approach to product development.
