Float: May float to med-surg overflow or ED holds
On Call: May be placed on call until 11 p.m.
Weekends: Every other weekend
Scrubs: Navy blue

Assignment Length: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week
Start Dates: Every other Monday
Shift: 6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.
Submission: Nurse Manager interview
First Day Info: Sent by facility on Fridays
Pre-shift huddle required (15 minutes and can be clocked in)

Unit Details:

  • Common Diagnoses: General med-surg and post-surgical patients
  • Beds: 36
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 1:6
  • Charting: EPIC
  • Special Procedures: Bariatric surgery
