About Us:
At The Palm at Regency Square, we take pride in providing exceptional long-term care and rehabilitation services in a compassionate, home-like environment. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for every resident we serve. We're currently seeking a dependable and caring Transportation Driver to join our team on a PRN (per diem) basis to assist with resident transportation needs during nights and weekends.

Position Summary:
The Transportation Driver ensures the safe, timely, and comfortable transport of residents to medical appointments, discharges, and facility-approved activities. This role requires professionalism, patience, and a strong commitment to resident safety and dignity.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport residents to and from appointments and facility-approved destinations.
  • Assist residents with entering, exiting, and securing mobility devices as needed.
  • Ensure residents are transported in a safe, respectful, and compassionate manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of facility vehicles.
  • Comply with all traffic laws, safety procedures, and facility policies.
  • Accurately complete transportation logs, mileage, and related documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Previous experience driving residents, patients, or clients in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
  • Dependable, courteous, and safety-oriented.
  • CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check. As well as CPS/APS check.
Schedule & Pay:
  • PRN (Per Diem) - Nights and weekends as needed. Other day time hours to fill in for vacations.
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
