Job Description
This role involves providing safe and efficient patient care services under the supervision and direction of a licensed provider and nurse, primarily focusing on various administrative duties. The position is front office-focused, involving charting patients for a general practice clinic and updating patient billing information.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk workflow.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the EMR system.
- Support a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Previous experience in a medical front office or receptionist role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with healthcare EMR systems.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Basic knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes.
- Comfortable working full-time hours.
- Experience in internal medicine or family practice settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and scheduling procedures.
- CPT coding knowledge is helpful but not required.
Work Environment
The role is based in a clinic environment that is very fast-paced. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Employees will have the opportunity to work with various specialty physicians, and there are great internal benefits available upon going direct.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
