Exciting Opportunity as a Radiology Technologist I
Join a dynamic team where you will perform essential radiographic procedures at a professional level. This role demands a strong understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, along with exceptional technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiological procedures for diagnostic purposes in both adult and pediatric settings.
- Apply ionizing radiation effectively while ensuring patient safety.
- Complete additional duties as needed to support department operations.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from recognized organizations.
- Ability to manage stress and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in computer skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently during shifts.
- Capability to bend, squat, and climb stairs as required.
- Good vision and hearing acuity to perform essential tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. unassisted if necessary.
