Contract Compliance Specialist, Charging

Tesla sets the bar for what a trustworthy & resilient charging network can be. The Charging Operations team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network.
The Contract Compliance Specialist works on the North America & EMEA Charging Operations team from our Palo Alto or Austin office. This role is responsible for tracking, creating and remitting government data compliance reports for our global Charging network. This role will specialize in project management of recurring reporting obligations, API development and serve as a subject matter expert on reporting, in addition to other key responsibilities, in a fast passed, high volume environment. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Policy, Energy Optimization, IT, Tools & Analytics) in addition to external stakeholders like government agencies.
What You'll Do- Responsible for compilation and remittance of all Charging government data reporting requirements to ensure good standing
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Policy and IT teams on changes to requirements to adapt reports as needed
- Drive opportunities for API integrations to reduce requirements for manual remittance
- Serve as subject matter expert internally with supporting teams and leaders of programs requiring data reporting
- Drive efficiency and process improvements with internal systems and stakeholders, such as automation, intermediate and long-term creative solutions
- Degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent experience
- Proficient with SQL and Python
- Experience with large data sets and reporting
- Impeccable attention to detail and an eye for efficiency
- Experience coordinating in fast-paced environments and teams
- Superb organizational skills with strong multi-tasking abilities
- Focused personality while maintain a flexible attitude towards critical tasks
