As an enrollment events manager, you will work closely with admission events leadership to develop and implement pre-college programs that effectively reach the target audience, increase program awareness, and attract quality enrollments. You will regularly meet with leadership to provide and receive updates on Spotlight Days, SCAD Days, pre-college programs, admission signature events, and other initiatives, as well as to suggest event ideas, concepts, and décor models. Among other duties, you will collaborate on print and online materials to ensure these initiatives are presented clearly and effectively. You will also help create marketing materials and maps, distribute them, and keep program information on the university website up to date. Likewise, you will order and organize all collateral materials.
In this position, you will prepare reports, analyses, and statistical summaries on the programs and all related activities, including but not limited to enrollment, facility utilization, and student demographics. You will coordinate and attend meetings for events to identify program needs such as classroom spaces, physical resources, transportation, and supplies. You will negotiate contracts with vendors within the budget to secure these program needs. Among other duties, you will conduct annual studies on these needs and activities, assessing new and revised operational goals, policies, and procedures. You will also promptly share program policies, procedures, and mission details with staff. Additionally, you will develop guest and RSVP lists for specific events and serve as the communications liaison to coordinate with the creative direction team on requests.
In this role, you will coordinate with various internal teams, including admission, transportation, security, housekeeping, catering, and physical resources, to address student needs. You will assist in hiring and training instructors, assistants, and interns for the pre-college program and student ambassador programs. Among other duties, you will help manage the entire application process for the pre-college program to meet enrollment goals and support budget development. Responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of special initiatives, such as the Hometown Hero program and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. For these events, you will track reports and prepare expanded program evaluations.
You will also help with admission and portfolio counseling, interviews, recruitment, and LiveAgent shift coverage. You will also host pre-tour presentations, lead daily tours, meet with visiting prospective and offer portfolio counseling. At events, you will engage with guests, hosts, and staff to ensure consistency across all efforts. Additionally, you will strive to build lasting professional and institutional relationships with faculty, staff, and administrators in high school and extracurricular art programs.
