Description - Your Responsibilities include
- Conducting both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-according to established guidelines.
- Interpreting results for accuracy, troubleshooting inconsistencies, and performing preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
- Assisting in specimen collection and preparing samples for analysis as required.
- Thoroughly documenting all procedures, training new staff or students, and ensuring laboratory quality standards are maintained.
- Keeping a pristine and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree in conjunction with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
- Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
- Maintain active certification throughout your career with us.
