Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)
Location: Bend, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3 12-hour shifts (07:00-19:00)
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical teams in a variety of specialty procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, gynecology, plastics, ENT, vascular, urology, robotics, and pediatrics (within scope).
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Support surgeons with complex cases such as craniotomy, orthopedic trauma, motor vehicle accident injuries, and total joint replacements.
- Ensure equipment care, sterilization, and proper handling of scopes, fiber optics, and instrumentation.
- Follow universal protocols, isolation precautions, sharps safety, and laser safety guidelines.
- Participate in call rotation: two weeknights every 6 weeks and one full weekend (days or nights) every 1.5 months.
- Work in a high-volume environment with 16 operating rooms.
- Care for patients across adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
