Day shift starting pay $19.76, hours 6:45am-7pm
Night shift starting pay $21.74, hours 6:45pm-7am

As an Extrusion PVC Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in operating and monitoring machinery that produces high-quality PVC pipes. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with technical skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires working efficiently during 12-hour shifts and handling physical tasks related to production.

Responsibilities:

  1. Machine Operation: Operate extrusion machinery to ensure the production of PVC pipes meets high-quality standards.
  2. Monitoring and Adjusting: Regularly monitor the extrusion process and make necessary adjustments to ensure product specifications and quality are upheld.
  3. Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of the PVC pipes, quickly identifying and addressing any defects or irregularities.
  4. Material Handling: Load and manage raw materials for the extrusion machine, ensuring smooth production flow.
  5. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with the maintenance team for any necessary repairs.
  6. Documentation: Keep accurate production records including machine settings, output quantities, and adjustments made during your shift.
  7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your teammates.

Requirements:

  1. Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks required in the extrusion process.
  2. Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to ensure product quality and identify defects.
  3. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to ensure smooth production processes.
  4. Adaptability: Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and adjust to changing production needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures in the production environment.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
