Our district educates approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades in 22 outstanding schools. Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6-8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K-5), three schools with all grades (K-8), and one Early Education Center. We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools: Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM.
ACHIEVEMENT GOAL: Create learning opportunities for ALL Pre-K through 8th students resulting in closing the achievement gap and culminating in personal and academic success in high school and beyond.
EQUITY GOAL: Reduce inequitable outcomes for ALL students and staff by prioritizing equity, access, and inclusion.
WELLNESS GOAL: Provide a safe, caring, nurturing, and culturally responsive environment for all students to meet the needs of the whole child.

Job Summary
The San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for a School Operations Team Leader.
8 hours/day; 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 pm - Laurel Elementary School (1/2 hour for lunch)
Definition:
Under general supervision, to coordinate daily school cleaning, repair, activity set-up, safety inspections, and security activities with the site principal, to keep buildings, grounds, and office space clean and orderly; to perform custodial, storekeeping, and light grounds and building maintenance tasks in the service of a school; to lead a small crew of custodians; and to perform related work as required.
