Job Description:

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

  • Average salary of $90,000 annually
  • $5,000 retention bonus
  • Travel required
  • Hazmat endorsement required: If you do not currently hold a hazmat endorsement, you must acquire it within 30 days of hire. The associated costs will be reimbursed upon hire.

You will drive:

  • Late model, Penske Truck Leasing straight trucks equipped with lift-gates
  • Trucks designed for comfort with best-in-class specifications
  • XM Radio in all trucks
  • Inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for enhanced safety

What you will do:

  • Deliver automobile parts to retail stores
  • Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Unload palletized freight using a pallet jack
  • Scan products upon delivery
  • Hotel accommodations and rental provided

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Dispatch times will vary based on route coverage
  • Enjoy 2 consecutive days off

Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A required
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Adhere to all applicable federal and state laws
  • Regular, predictable attendance is essential
  • Must be proficient in English to comply with federal law
  • Complete the required schedule and submit to a background check and drug screening
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires alertness and safe operation

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting is required
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 100lbs
  • Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit as well as access the rear cargo area
