Patient Services Representative I

Duration: 3+ months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM; Every other Saturday, 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care through accurate and safe blood specimen collection. This role serves as the face of the company, ensuring a professional, respectful, and confidential experience for all patients while following established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical and forensic blood draws (pediatric and geriatric)
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Create a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment
- Follow company procedures and demonstrate strong organizational values
- Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)
- Excellent phlebotomy and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong data entry and keyboarding skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as needed
- Reliable personal transportation (rideshare or public transportation not accepted)
- Must live within 20-25 minutes of the Ocoee, FL worksite (must list home city/commute time on resume)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (preferred)
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, WA only)
- Pay rate based on years of direct phlebotomy experience
- Punctuality and full shift attendance required; excessive absenteeism or tardiness may result in termination
