Summer Intern 2026

Schnucks' Summer Intern Program is an immersive corporate internship based in our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. Interns gain real-world experience in their designated department, and collaborate on a cross-functional, inter-disciplinary group project to present at the end of the summer. These are paid internships that require full-time attendance 6/1/2026 through 8/7/2026.
The 2026 Compensation Summer Internship supports the compensation team and gets introduced to Schnucks' corporate culture.
This role requires 4 days in the office, 1 day remote, and is located in St Louis, Missouri.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Being exposed to the different functions of the Total Rewards department, including Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and HR Information Systems
• Working as a team with teammates within Total Rewards, Human Resources and other interns
Minimum Requirements:
• Required Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree program, preferably in Human Resources, and completion of at least 30 credit hours.
• Available to work full-time Monday through Friday 6/1/2026 - 8/7/2026.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Some knowledge/experience in Total Rewards or Human Resources.
• Comfortable navigating Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Eager to learn, take initiative and be accountable.
• Displays values consistent with Schnucks' culture.
Additional Requirements - Internal Candidates:
- Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
- Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
