Must have : Building out a new team, would lead all of Test Automation/SDET across enterprise. IRALogix - is a late-stage SaaS startup in the retirement investment space. They provide a cloud-based platform that gives their clients access to a variety of IRA retirement programs. The team is standing up a new automation framework. Open to cucumber or selenium as a scripting language. Looking for Sr level SDET that will build out new automation test frameworks.

Responsibilities:
The essential responsibilities and duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and execute a long-term quality vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Define and implement quality standards, metrics, and key performance indicators.
Design and implement a robust quality framework that covers the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Establish processes for requirements gathering, design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
Integrate quality checks into automated build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
Identify and adopt appropriate testing tools and methodologies to ensure optimal test coverage.
Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to foster a culture of quality.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to quality engineers and testers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize quality initiatives and allocate resources effectively.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven track record of designing and implementing quality frameworks for software development.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
Expertise in continuous integration and tooling (e.g., Harness, GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
Expertise in software automation, test management, and bug tracking (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jira, Rally, Zephyr).

Qual Notes: Quality architect to lead frameworks around automation. SDET: building an automation framework, set entire direction for the QA will function and act as the lead. Direction/strategy and what tools to encompass.
