ABOUT BAPTIST URGENT CARE:
Physicians Care is part of a growing network of Urgent Care Centers across Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. With over 80 locations, we are dedicated to providing quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare services. Our centers cater to various healthcare needs, including injury treatment and wellness care, and are open seven days a week.
YOUR ROLE:
As an X-Ray Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in patient care by utilizing diagnostic equipment, conducting x-ray tests, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. Your knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be vital in providing excellent care and supporting our medical team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warmly greet patients upon arrival and assist them throughout their visit.
- Maintain clear communication with patients about wait times and next steps in treatment.
- Perform thorough documentation regarding patient history, vital signs, and procedural information.
- Carry out x-ray procedures efficiently to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper radiation protection measures.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and promptly report any technical issues.
- Participate in continual education to enhance your knowledge and skills in radiology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS Certification.
- State X-Ray License.
- ARRT Certification preferred.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
