Job Responsibilities
- Formulate Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and craft specialized therapy strategies to help them reach their daily living objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based methodologies to improve patients' physical skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work in conjunction with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive, caring support.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their loved ones on therapy practices to encourage continued progress at home.
- Track Progress and Adjust Strategies: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients progressing.
- An accredited degree in Occupational Therapy
- Encouragement for continuing education and additional certification opportunities
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT certification mandatory for practice
- A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their highest independence
