POSITION SUMMARY

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for:

  • Organizing and conducting therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice.
  • Delivering high-quality healthcare with a focus on compassion and patient-centric care.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Formal Education / Training:

  1. Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
  2. Graduate of a school of Occupational Therapy.
  3. Certified Hand Therapist.
  4. BLS within 90 days of hire.

Workplace Experience:

  • Patient Care Delivery experience is required.

Physical Requirements Include:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Prolonged walking and lifting patients.
  • Frequent physical exertion, including moving supplies up to 50 lbs.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments.
  • Developing treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
  • Applying therapeutic principles consistently.
  • Documenting patient care accurately and timely.
  • Maintaining a professional and clean work environment.
