Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assisting in a range of surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room
  • Upholding strict sterile fields and following infection control measures
  • Effectively handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and clinical assistants
  • Managing surgical equipment pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively
  • Monitoring and managing surgical supplies to ensure optimal readiness for procedures
  • Collaborating seamlessly with nurses and anesthesiologists to provide exceptional patient care
  • Keeping meticulous surgical counts and accurate documentation
Essential Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
Certifications Required:
  • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential mandatory
  • BLS certification is needed (or ability to secure it within 90 days of hire)
