Join Marvin as a Manufacturing Engineer and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving manufacturing processes Our facility in Grafton, ND, offers a vibrant environment where collaboration and innovation thrive.

Your role will include a diverse range of responsibilities, from hands-on work on the production floor to conducting research and calculations for future projects. You will have the chance to build strong relationships with Production Associates, Engineering Technicians, and key stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
  • Gain valuable insights into the daily challenges faced on the production floor.
  • Support specific Product Groups in achieving their performance goals.
  • Identify and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) and LEAN practices.
  • Apply engineering principles and CI tools to assess current processes and design future enhancements.
  • Maintain a roadmap for capital project proposals to support growth.
  • Assist in projects and equipment acquisition to boost efficiency.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of layout planning and cost impacts to support engineering initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to ask insightful questions.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Inventor software or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and related technologies.
  • Mentorship experience in engineering concepts is a plus.
  • Project Management experience is beneficial.
