In 2019, the restaurant was acquired by TEI Hospitality, an Atlanta-based family-owned company, which has preserved its legacy while enhancing seating, food quality, and bar offerings. Today, The Dock continues to deliver an authentic coastal dining experience, combining its original charm with modern hospitality standards.
Job Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the dishwashing area and operating the dish machine in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures that all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and organized to support smooth kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine according to safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and free of debris throughout the shift.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Assist with trash removal and maintain proper waste disposal procedures.
• Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and rewash items as necessary.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support kitchen staff with additional cleaning or prep tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
