Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and license foster homes, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to promote the foster care program.
  • Conduct outreach through diverse methods, including mail-outs, press releases, and community presentations.
  • Engage potential applicants with timely and effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide comprehensive orientation and ongoing training for prospective foster parents.
  • Assist in developing and implementing behavioral treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain an organized schedule for ongoing training sessions and meetings with foster parents.
  • Conduct home studies and provide recommendations for foster parent licensure.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted promptly to the appropriate state agency.
  • Support and guide other Health Connect America offices in maintaining foster parent licensing standards.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to oversee the coordination of foster homes.
  • Develop corrective action plans and conduct regular evaluations of foster homes.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field.
  • Two years of experience working in a therapeutic environment with children and families.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.

State-Specific Requirements:

  • North Carolina: Must meet criteria as a Qualified Professional.
  • South Carolina: Must obtain certification through SC DSS as a Certified Investigator.
