We offer a range of volunteer opportunities that are both rewarding and impactful. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Nutrition Services Volunteer
- Assist staff in delivering nutrition education and support at our senior center.
- Read to seniors and support literacy efforts.
- Provide translating services and general office support.
- Community Outreach Volunteer
- Conduct outreach activities to spread the word about the services provided by La Quinta Wellness Center.
- Engage with the community through events and informational sessions.
- Special Events Volunteer
- Participate in health fairs and special events focused on senior wellness.
- Educate and interact with attendees to promote our services and programs.
- Administrative Volunteer
- Provide essential office support to help with daily tasks and projects.
- Assist with various administrative duties to support the senior center’s operations.
- Social Service Counselor
- Conduct client assessments and evaluations for seniors entering and exiting our program.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and handle client concerns.
- Participate in outreach services and other assigned tasks to support our mission.
