Our dedicated team values your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care. You will perform diagnostic tests, administer therapies, and monitor patients undergoing mechanical ventilation, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient assessments and documenting respiratory health.
- Administering oxygen therapies and medication via aerosol delivery.
- Assisting with artificial airway placements and managing mechanical ventilation.
- Monitoring patient responses and acting promptly in emergencies.
- Transporting ventilator-dependent patients securely.
Qualifications required:
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or equivalent.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications in Neonate Resuscitation and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.
HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a well-established 404-bed facility located conveniently in Kissimmee, offering comprehensive healthcare services including Emergency Care and a Level II Trauma Center.
