The Producer Contracting & Commissions Specialist plays a crucial role in the insurance industry by ensuring that all producer contracts are accurately processed and maintained. This position is responsible for managing the commission structures and ensuring timely payments to producers, which directly impacts the company's relationships with its agents. The specialist will analyze commission data to identify trends and discrepancies, providing insights that help optimize compensation strategies. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with various departments to streamline processes and enhance the overall efficiency of the contracting and commission systems. Ultimately, the success of this position contributes to the company's growth and the satisfaction of its producers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in contract management or commission processing within the insurance industry.

• Strong understanding of insurance products and commission structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with insurance agency management systems and commission software.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to producer contracting.

• Professional certification in contract management or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process producer contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Manage and maintain accurate records of commission structures and payments, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

• Analyze commission data to identify trends, providing reports and recommendations to management.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and compliance, to streamline contracting and commission processes.

• Serve as a point of contact for producers regarding contract inquiries and commission-related issues.

Skills:

The required skills for this role include strong analytical abilities, which are essential for reviewing commission data and identifying discrepancies. Attention to detail is crucial, as the specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts and commission payments are accurate and compliant. Effective communication skills are necessary for collaborating with internal teams and addressing producer inquiries. Proficiency in software tools related to contract management will enhance the efficiency of daily tasks. Hybrid Work Model

At our Canton location, employees will be on site Monday - Thursday. At our Omaha location, employees will be on site 2 days per week.
