An established insurance agency is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Insurance Producer with a hunter mentality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, a proven track record in business development, and a passion for building and maintaining strong client and broker relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and close new commercial insurance business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and referral sources.
- Identify and assess client needs to recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve production goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products, markets, and industry trends.
- Represent the agency at networking and industry events to expand market presence.
- Proven sales experience with a focus on commercial insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
- Consultative and solutions-oriented sales approach.
- Comfortable thinking creatively and overcoming challenges.
- Ability to travel within an assigned territory.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience working with multiple carriers and managing broker relationships.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
