01/09/2026 Coal City Community Unit School District 1 is accepting applications for Chief School Business Official / Finance Director. This role reports to the District Superintendent and works closely with the Board of Education. Responsibilities include finance leadership, strategic vision / planning, and oversight of the accounting, construction, and risk management of the District, including appropriate external vendors and contractors. The CSBO / Finance Director leads the District's finance activities, including accounting, budgeting, purchasing, cash management, risk management, forecasting, and assists in negotiations, construction management, public relations, and building operations. The midrange salary is $90,000 - $120,000, and the anticipated start date for this role would be July 1, 2026.
