Boiler Field Service Technician

Join a leading service and repair company as a Steam Field Service Technician, focusing on the maintenance and repair of hydronic and boiler systems similar to HVAC. Based in Deer Park, TX, this role involves extensive travel across the Midwest, Louisiana, Texas, and the Houston area.
Responsibilities

Visit customer sites to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install boiler systems.

Handle PLC installation, repair, and programming.

Replace plumbing and mechanical parts related to packaged boiler systems.

Document all work orders on company laptops using field software.

Interact with customers to provide excellent service and support.
Essential Skills
-
3+ years of HVAC service experience.

Proficiency with hydronic or boiler systems.

Skilled in PLC installation, troubleshooting, repair, and programming.

Own metric and service tools.

Basic computer skills.
Work Environment
This role involves 95% travel to different customer sites across the Midwest, Louisiana, East Texas, and Houston. Typically, you'll be on the road for 1-2 weeks at a time, aiming for home visits on weekends as schedules allow. On-call duty is required one weekend per month. The average workweek is 40-50 hours, primarily on the day shift, with exact start times dependent on scheduling. Attire includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a company shirt.

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $87360.00/yr.
