Parexel is looking for a skilled Senior Consultant, Advanced Analytics: Meta-Analysis and HTA to join our team in a fully remote position. This role requires availability for East Coast/CET hours. We seek candidates with significant experience in Network Meta-Analysis, Evidence Synthesis, Survival Analysis, and Health Technology Assessment (HTA).

Job Purpose:

The Senior Consultant, Advanced Analytics: Meta-Analysis plays a critical role in providing statistical expertise and methodological leadership throughout various projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with junior team members to develop and implement effective client solutions while harnessing your skills in statistical theory, data analysis, regression analysis, systematic review, and evidence synthesis methodologies.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide strategic input on clinical development programs to enhance Access/HTA evidence integration within global strategies.

  • Identify evidence gaps, explore potential data sources, and devise comprehensive evidence-generation plans.

  • Align Access/HTA activities with broader organizational functions including Global Access and other affiliates.

  • Plan and execute statistical analyses of clinical trials and other pertinent data, while producing technical documentation for analyses and economic models.

  • Interpret and effectively communicate analysis findings to affiliates for local reimbursement applications.

  • Lead cross-functional teams and contribute to the enhancement of methodologies within the Evidence Chapter.

  • Stay updated with the evolving Access/HTA landscape and academic advancements, ensuring that contemporary access methodologies are integrated into evidentiary plans.

Additional Responsibilities:

The Consultant will ensure efficient management of projects while maximizing quality and client satisfaction, making certain that project outcomes align with objectives. Additionally, you will mentor Senior Associates and Associates and identify any training needs to support their growth.

As part of multi-disciplinary research teams, you will provide statistical guidance and methodological leadership throughout project life cycles with tasks including:

  • Developing network meta-analysis protocols

  • Reviewing systematically extracted data

  • Conducting feasibility assessments

  • Creating network diagrams

  • Assessing study heterogeneity critically

  • Executing network meta-analyses

  • Assisting in interpretation and dissemination of findings

You will also contribute to thought leadership and innovation in advanced analytics through:

  • Pairwise meta-analysis

  • Mixed treatment comparison

  • Indirect treatment comparison

  • Network meta-analysis

  • Match-adjusted indirect treatment analysis

  • Meta-regression

  • Single-arm trial analysis

  • Simulated treatment comparison

  • Surrogate outcome assessment

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral-level degree in applied statistics, health economics, or relevant quantitative fields.

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, Access/HTA/reimbursement agency, or an academic environment (experience in pharma affiliates is a plus).

  • Profound knowledge of Access and HTA, clinical research methodologies, and global payer evidence needs.

  • Expertise in statistical methods and research design, including Generalized Linear Models, Survival Analysis, Network Meta-Analysis, and Bayesian statistics.

  • Proficiency in R and GitLab (additional experience with SAS, Python, WinBUGS, JAGS, or comparable statistical software is advantageous).

  • Demonstrated strategic, collaborative, and communication skills with exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to meet tight deadlines alongside strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
