Most of our clients live in Simsbury, Granby, Canton, Avon and surrounding towns
What we're looking for:
- A state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification would be preferred
- Hoyer lift experience is a plus
- A copy of a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray is required
- Drivers license with insured and reliable automobile (preferred)
- Dementia/ Hospice including end-of-life experience is a plus
- A minimum of one year of documented experience required
- Pass a drug test and background check
- Shift differential will be paid for weekend hourly and/or shifts shorter than 4 hours
- Paid training
- Simple IRA

- Time and a half pay for working any of 9 major holidays

- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
- Provide assistance with personal care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Properly manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
- Provide transportation if needed to medical appointments, shopping or other activities
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
