Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday with Stemi Call approximately 10 to 12 days a month.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for providing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, utilizing advanced equipment and technology to assist with various cardiac procedures. The technician must demonstrate proficiency in Cath Lab operations, patient care, and the use of specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain cardiac imaging equipment including GE Innova and Impella.
  • Assist in performing procedures such as PCI, TAVR, IABP, and PFO.
  • Document procedures and patient data using MacLab and Meditech systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards in the Cath Lab environment.
  • Provide patient education and support during recovery in the holding area.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Cath Lab experience with competencies in Structural Heart procedures.
  • Certification in ACLS and BLS is mandatory.
  • Advanced skills in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP operations.
