The Role

We're looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead the development of the Requester Experience for Datavant's new Legal & Insurance vertical. This vertical's mission is to enable seamless medical record retrieval and analysis for attorneys, copy services, and insurance requesters.

In this role, you'll work closely with analytics, engineering, and operations to drive improvements in the Requester Experience for Datavant's Legal and Insurance medical record retrieval and analysis offerings. This looks like:

  • Building Datavant's future Legal & Insurance product offering with recent acquisitions

  • Growing Datavant's provider network through aggregator and provider integrations

  • Improving the requester experience for medical record retrieval and analysis, for both enterprise and small/medium business customers

  • Enhancing current AI tools and building new ones that deliver the insights that Legal & Insurance requesters need to make key decisions

This is a unique opportunity to shape a new vertical at Datavant from inception, ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, drives clarity in complexity, and enjoys building at the intersection of healthcare, law, insurance, and data.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven record of leading complex, enterprise-grade, data-centric products.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a product from concept to launch.

  • Experience in data exchange, retrieval, or healthcare data products; bonus points for experience in legal & insurance medical record retrieval and analysis.

  • Comfort designing products in highly regulated, high-stakes environments, balancing compliance with user experience.

  • Skilled at distilling complexity and influencing executives, technical leaders, and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset - rolls up sleeves, comfortable with ambiguity, eager to learn, and relentless about execution

  • Deep comfort working with engineering and analytics teams to solve ambiguous and complex data challenges

  • Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships and contributes to a supportive, high-performing culture

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:

$170,000-$200,000 USD
