Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Tulsa , Oklahoma

Type: Contract

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is in search of an Accounting Clerk for a top-notch company in the Tulsa area. Qualified candidates will join an established team of professionals who excel in their areas of expertise. The company is interested in a talented individual with the appropriate background to have a positive impact in achieving success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoicing, collections, and vendor management

  • Research, track, and resolve accounting problems

  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records

  • Verify and process invoices and payments to vendors, verifying accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation

  • Process accounts receivable

  • Assist with general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes

  • Interact with customers to ensure payments are applied correctly and timely

Qualifications:

  • Associates' degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance

  • Proficient in a variety of accounting software and Microsoft Office including Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers

  • Excellent communication, data entry and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
