Our client, a private equity-owned, multi-location organization, is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to serve as a key strategic partner to the CFO, executive leadership team, and private equity sponsor. This individual will lead the FP&A function, driving financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support decision-making, business growth, and value creation. The role will also play a critical part in strategic planning initiatives, M&A preparation, and building scalable financial processes.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with CFO, CEO, and executive team to provide actionable insights that drive growth and profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage and oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Lead monthly reporting, including key financial metrics and performance indicators. Prepare and present clear, actionable reports for executive leadership, board of directors, and private equity sponsors.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess company performance, profitability, risks, and growth opportunities.
- KPI Development: Establish and track key financial and operational KPIs. Collaborate with department leaders to provide data-driven insights for marketing strategies and clinic-level performance.
- Analytics & Dashboards: Create dynamic dashboards and management reporting tools using Power BI to translate metrics into financial impact and prioritize business issues.
- Innovation: Drive advanced business analytics to deliver incremental value and align data with strategic objectives.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting and support working capital optimization.
- M&A Support: Assist in financial due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition integration for potential acquisitions.
- Strong business acumen, ideally with experience in multi-site healthcare platforms, franchisors, and/or private equity-backed organizations.
- Expertise in process mapping, simplification, and streamlining.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail and sound business judgment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with senior leadership and board members.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong leadership and delegation capabilities.
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Finance and FP&A roles.
- Proven track record in high-growth, private equity environments, including FP&A experience with acquisitions and/or sale processes.
- Expertise in building scalable financial planning, analysis, and reporting models.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Power BI, and MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred.
