Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing as necessary.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
  • Conduct thorough oral health assessments and document conditions of teeth and gums.
  • Inform patients about proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
  • Apply sealants and fluoride treatments when indicated.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and follow strict sterilization protocols for instruments.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required.
  • Maintain accurate digital records of patient care and treatment plans.
  • Oversee and replenish hygiene supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and other essential regulatory standards.
  • Undertake additional tasks to enhance patient care and support clinic operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of Illinois.
  • Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
Preferred Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Gentle and compassionate approach with patients.
  • Familiarity with dental software and digital charting systems.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care.
  • Knowledge of common dental procedures and effective patient education strategies.
Schedule and Shift Details:
  • Full-time position requiring 5 days of work each week.
  • Flexibility to travel between LaGrange, West Loop, and Berwyn locations.
