Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic - Kenworth South Florida
Ft. Lauderdale, FL All Roads Trucks

Do you thrive on hands-on work and enjoy solving mechanical challenges? Kenworth South Florida in Ft. Lauderdale is hiring experienced Diesel Technicians to join our growing team. Put your skills to work immediately in a role that values strong work ethic, quick learning, and attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required. Prior Kenworth experience is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly pay: $25-$45 (based on experience)
  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $5,000 for qualified candidates
  • Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and recondition Kenworth trucks as directed by the Service Manager
  • Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
  • Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
  • Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
  • Maintain accurate and detailed repair records
  • Communicate with the factory for technical support
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technical advancements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Diesel technician experience (Kenworth preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Welding experience a plus
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to talk, listen, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and transport materials up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally more than 50 lbs.
