Job DescriptionWe are seeking Caregivers to become a part of our team and help make a difference in our Assisted Living and Memory Care departments. AM and PM shifts available
Criteria of Candidates:

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and privacy
- Support residents' mobility by helping with ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging them in conversations and activities
- Assist in serving meals and feeding when necessary, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties and following infection control protocols
- Following individualized care plans for residents
- Encourage and support residents' independence and autonomy whenever possible
- Assist with prepping and escorting residents for appointments or community activities
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, following established protocols
- Document resident care activities, observations, and interactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge
- Adhere to all company policies, state regulations, and HIPAA guidelines to maintain resident confidentiality and safety
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Proven ability to safely assist clients with ambulation and mobility, both within the facility and during external appointments or activities.
- Extensive experience in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) tasks, including but not limited to:
- Housekeeping and maintaining a clean living environment
- Bed-making and linen management
- Meal service and assistance with feeding when required
- Personal laundry management
- Assistance with showering, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Support with dressing and undressing
- Oral care and hair care
- Safe transfers and ambulation assistance
Required Attributes:
- Maturity and professional demeanor in all interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Positive attitude and unwavering commitment to resident care and well-being.
- Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams.
- Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned, based on daily activities and resident needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, empathy, and a strong work ethic, dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in our assisted living community.
