Environmental Service Technician; 7AM

Documents performed cleaning tasks on the appropriate forms to record items accurately in paperwork.
Communicates effectively with the supervisor to keep them informed of current responsibilities and resolve any complex or urgent issues.
Assists in monitoring supply levels in order to balance departmental supply needs and budgetary goals.
Helps maintain the cleanliness and functioning of equipment and storage areas to ensure department operations run efficiently.
Treats and removes carpet stains as needed without prompting in order to maintain a clean appearance for guests and patients.
Assists in the selection and use of cleaning agents and equipment to safeguard against damage and clean effectively to reduce the risk of illness.
Performs cleaning per departmental standards (routine and/or weekly, discharge, medication rooms, IV storage rooms, refrigerators, etc.) to meet customer needs. Does not touch/handle medications and is escorted in areas where narcotics are available. Prioritizes needs and adjust accordingly.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
