We are hiring a strategic Senior IT Project Manager for an exciting, high-impact contract opportunity (approx. 10 months, 20 hours/week). This is a crucial role leading the consolidation and migration of major Microsoft 365 and Azure environments across multiple departments. The successful candidate will drive centralization efforts to enhance collaboration, streamline IT governance, and achieve significant operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle for a large-scale Microsoft 365 and Azure consolidation initiative, driving systems centralization.

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing and communicating robust mitigation and resolution plans to all stakeholders.

  • Ensure strict project governance by adhering to formal PMO standards, maintaining comprehensive, audit-ready documentation, and providing clear executive-level status reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Enterprise IT Project Leadership experience managing complex, multi-departmental M365 and Azure migration projects.

  • Deep technical understanding of core Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and Microsoft Azure services, including consolidation best practices.

  • Expert stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills, with the ability to translate highly technical details into strategic, actionable insights.

  • Proven experience working within formal Project Management Office (PMO) structures and adhering to standardized methodologies.

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow for Project Portfolio Management (PPM), including tracking, resource allocation, and reporting.

This role is essential for centralizing and modernizing critical cloud infrastructure by ensuring strategic alignment, strong governance, and successful project delivery.
