Randstad has an immediate need for a Cost / Financial Analyst in the Holly Hill, Florida area. We're seeking a candidate with proven manufacturing accounting experience and advanced Excel skills to support a high-volume production environment. This role plays a key part in cost control, financial analysis, and performance reporting, helping to drive accuracy, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable):

  • Advanced Excel - heavy data manipulation, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
  • Manufacturing Accounting Experience - understanding cost flows, inventory valuation, and production variances.
  • Cost Control / Cost Analysis - tracking and analyzing manufacturing costs, identifying trends, and driving efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs to identify variances and trends; collaborate with production to reduce waste and optimize resources.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, intercompany accounts, and purchasing receipts to AP ledgers.
  • Prepare and post journal entries; maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Review and validate invoices and statements with Purchasing; ensure AP data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain KPI and financial performance reports to support decision-making.
  • Support month-end close, audits, and financial reporting cycles.
Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills - data manipulation, PivotTables, formulas, and modeling.
  • Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems (preferred).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to multitask.
