Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians and 2 APPs at Methodist Northlake
Qualifications:
- New graduates are welcome to apply. Completion of training, board certification, and unrestricted PA license to be granted before the start of employment.
- Board Certified/Eligible Physician Assistant.
- Must have Inpatient experience within the last 12 months.
- Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule available - Flexible scheduling options.
- Our team values time with family and the outdoors, so we maintain flexible schedules and provide coverage for one another when away.
Key Responsibilities:
- We handle Admissions, Discharges, Rounding and Specialty Consults for our patients.
- We welcome the challenge of complex cases and collaborate with our ICU physicians.
- Procedures are not required.
Living and Working in Gary:
- Gary, Indiana, is located 30 miles southeast of Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan. It is part of the larger Chicago Metropolitan area. We have colleagues who live in the Gary area, the surrounding suburbs, as well as Chicago itself.
- Our guiding principle is patient care first, which means we focus on the people of Gary and the nearby areas. You will be part of a team that is making a real difference in the health of our neighbors.
