SEC Reporting Manager

Interim SEC Reporting Manager

Our client, a SaaS technology company, is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager who will focus on preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual SEC filings, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.

This role is 100% remote; however, PST working hours are preferred during close periods. This engagement has an expected duration of 4 months.

Responsibilities:

• Support preparation, coordination, and review of disclosures and workpapers for quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K).
• Ensure filings meet SEC and U.S. GAAP requirements, including XBRL tagging.
• Research peer disclosures and propose enhancements for SEC filings.
• Collaborate with senior management, auditors, legal counsel, and committees on documentation and review processes.
• Assist with technical accounting projects, including new standards implementation, M&A activity, and impairment analyses.

Requirements:

• 10 years of SEC reporting experience in a public company environment.
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience with XBRL and SOX compliance.
• CPA or equivalent highly preferred.
• Experience with Workiva (Wdesk); familiarity with Oracle and FloQast a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
