About The Role

We are seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer who will collaborate across teams to uphold the technical excellence of our products. This position is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and is eager to use AI methodologies to enhance our software development lifecycle while mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical integrity and quality of our existing and new AI-powered features, ensuring they align with product goals and high engineering standards.
• Help manage sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives, while ensuring quality releases and coordinating effective sprint reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data science, and engineering teams to define features, manage project scope, and prioritize tasks.
• Work with Lead Engineers and Architects to design and develop large-scale data applications, incorporating LLMs and AI tools.
• Contribute to advancing our technologies, staying ahead of trends in AI, machine learning, and data science.
• Create detailed documentation and training materials to enhance team efficiency and support knowledge transfer, focusing on AI technology.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Produce high-quality, optimized code while maintaining system availability and implementing AI-driven features.
• Regularly assess and enhance engineering processes for development, AI technologies, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SaaS teams to maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Encourage a collaborative and trustworthy company culture.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, including knowledge of design patterns and data structures.
• Proficiency in key technologies such as Django, Python, Postgres, and AWS ECS, with strong AWS cloud infrastructure expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling productive collaboration with data science and product management teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including effective planning and retrospectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills focused on delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges in software engineering and AI.
• Familiarity with AI tools and prompt engineering methods for solving engineering problems.
• Experience integrating AI technologies like LLMs into existing software products.
• Track record of mentoring junior engineers and promoting a team-first culture.
• Attention to detail and encouragement in addressing concerns and suggestions during code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong front-end skills with React, Typescript, and Node.
• Background in deep learning, NLP, or reinforcement learning.
• Experience developing and deploying AI models and machine learning algorithms in production.
• Familiarity with integrating AI into DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, or Windsurf.
