This role can be performed from various office locations across the U.S., with the option for hybrid work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and verify design computations and drawings.
  • Oversee project submittals and synchronize multiple design timelines.
  • Create and assess project specifications and technical reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and project records.
  • Produce precise and high-quality deliverable drawings.
  • Ensure work quality aligns with project budgets.

Experience:

  • 14+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Certification/Licensure:

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the technical authority for advanced engineering concepts and practices.
  • Monitors new developments impacting the organization and recommends program changes.
  • Innovates new methodologies or enhances existing processes, materials, or products.
  • Evaluates sustainable performance of complex engineering projects holistically.

Project and Task Management:

  • Supervises a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Plans and coordinates the preparation of documents for multiple significant projects or manages an entire program.
  • Analyzes project management strategies for complex engineering endeavors.
  • Applies risk management principles to navigate project uncertainties.
  • Reviews operational procedures to ensure compliance with policies and performance criteria.

Management and Guidance:

  • Receives general supervision with assignments framed by broad objectives.
  • Mentors senior staff with continuous guidance.
  • Fosters a professional environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and adaptability among team members.

Communication and Leadership:

  • Utilizes strategic communication methods effectively.
  • Represents the engineering specialty within the organization and collaborates with relevant stakeholders.
  • Engages regularly with organizational leaders, clients, contractors, and others.
  • Promotes teamwork and leadership that embodies diversity and inclusion principles.
