Full-Time CT/XR Technologist - Near Cottonwood, AZ

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CT/XR Technologist to join our client's healthcare team in Cottonwood, AZ. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT (computed tomography) and X-ray imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each exam. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technologist looking to grow their career in a stunning location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explaining the procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the process.
  • Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment, ensuring proper function and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Assist with patient positioning to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and medical staff to provide the best possible care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all imaging data is properly documented.
  • Adhere to safety standards, infection control protocols, and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Provide compassionate patient care, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Education & Certification Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Certification in CT and X-ray through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Arizona State Radiologic Technologist license required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in performing CT and X-ray procedures preferred.
  • Strong understanding of imaging techniques, equipment operation, and patient care protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
