UW Health Kids is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer working at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. 100% FTE, day shift, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 5:30PM, 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating evening/weekend call responsibility and 1-hour response time. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

• Additional components of compensation may include:
  • Evening/Weekend Shift Differential
  • Overtime
  • On-Call/Call-In

Qualifications

• Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program, Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field Preferred

 Work Experience

• Pediatric echocardiography experience Preferred
• 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography testing Preferred

 Licenses & Certifications

• Registered in Adult Echocardiography (AE) Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) Preferred
• Fetal Echocardiography (FE) Preferred
